Nanotechnology Institute

dni mission

The A.J. Drexel Nanotechnology Institute (DNI) was established in January 2003 to coordinate interdisciplinary research, education and outreach, and strategic partnerships in nanotechnology for all of Drexel University.

Message from the Director

It is my pleasure to welcome you to DNI's web site. Drexel University hosts a wide variety of nanotechnology-related research and education activities. Our research strengths are in areas such as nanostructured materials for energy storage, biomedical applications, and filtration; nano- and micro-scale devices for electronics, and much more. I invite you to browse our faculty web pages to find out more.  I also invite high school students and teachers, undergraduates, and graduate students to check out our educational opportunities. Nanotechnology is an interdisciplinary and dynamic approach to science and engineering. This site will be updated regularly to reflect new publications, courses, and events. Please visit often! Please contact us if you wish to learn more.
