RET-NANO Highlights:

  • Gain hands-on experience working in a research laboratory
  • Learn about the cutting-edge field of nanotechnology and develop experiments and curriculum units to take back to your students
  • Learn what goes into a winning grant proposal
  • Attend field trips that illustrate nanotechnology in action
  • Receive a stipend of up to $5,000 & opportunities for Act 48 credits

     


    Who can be an RET-NANO Fellow:

    Applicant must have:

  • An appointment as a teacher of science or math at a high school or community college
  • An interest in including nanotechnology in your curriculum
  • Demonstrated creativity in teaching
  • Basic computer technology skills
  • Teams of teachers from a school are encouraged to apply.
    • No research experience necessary!
